About

1-Wire SysBus is a Home Assistant integration that reads 1-Wire sensors through the system bus, working locally. It is a spin-off of the original 1-Wire integration, which was removed from Home Assistant Core in version 2022.6. It adds sensor entities for devices found on the 1-Wire bus when the platform starts. Support is limited to temperature readings from DS18B20 devices (family 28), because it relies on the Raspberry Pi kernel modules for GPIO 1-Wire. The bus can be wired directly to Raspberry Pi pins or through an adapter such as the DS9490R. Connections through owserver are not supported, but the core 1-Wire integration can run alongside it for that purpose. Setup is done in the UI, where a mount directory is entered.

This is a spin-off from the original Home Assistant integration, which was removed in Home Assistant Core version 2022.6.
NOTE: This integration does not support connection via owserver owfs 1-Wire file system. For connection via owserver, use Home Assistant 1-Wire integration, both integrations can be used at the same time.
