About
Mold Risk Index is a Marketplace integration that calculates the risk of mold growth in a crawl space. It works locally and takes only temperature and humidity readings from two existing sensors that are chosen during setup in the UI. It is meant for unheated, enclosed spaces such as an unventilated crawl space, and the README says it can also suit an unheated garage or attic. The integration provides a Limit sensor and a Risk Index sensor. The Limit sensor can set the level on a dehumidifier or be compared with actual humidity, while the Risk Index sensor can be used to track historical data. The risk levels indicate how soon mold starts to grow, from eight weeks or more at level 1 to under four weeks at level 3.
