About

Local HTTP API for Linktap is an integration that controls LinkTap TapLinkers and ValveLinkers through the gateway's local HTTP API. It adds a switch and a matching valve for watering, number settings for watering duration, watering volume and pause duration, and a Pause Water Plan switch. Binary sensors report status and alerts, while sensors cover water, flow, duration, plan and diagnostic data. A separate Home Assistant device is created for each output, so multi-valve units appear as several devices. Optional per-device limits for maximum instant watering duration and volume can be set in the options, and they apply only on the Home Assistant side. It communicates locally with the gateway, using its IPv4 address, and is added through the interface.

A custom Home Assistant integration for LinkTap TapLinkers and ValveLinkers using the LinkTap gateway's local HTTP API.
The integration provides local control and monitoring of LinkTap devices, including LinkTap-style Instant Watering, device status, water/flow sensors, cumulative watering totals, water-plan pause controls, alerts, and optional Home Assistant-side watering safety limits.
