About
NWS SPC Outlook is an integration that polls severe weather outlooks from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. It adds a sensor for each outlook day, covering Days 1 through 8, and each sensor reports the categorical risk for that day. Sensor attributes include the issue, start and expiration times in UTC, plus stroke and fill hex colors for the risk polygon covering the area. Days 1 and 2 also carry hail, wind and tornado probability attributes, each with its own polygon colors. For Days 3 to 8 those specific risk types are not provided and default to no risk. It needs the vendor's cloud and is set up in the UI.
