About

AI Agent HA is an integration that turns natural language requests into Home Assistant automations and other operations. It connects to several AI providers, including OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Alter, z.ai and Llama, and each provider needs its own API key. A predefined model can be picked, or a custom model name entered, both during setup and later in the options. Beyond automations, it can control devices such as lights and climate, read entity states, history and weather, and build dashboards from a written description. A new dashboard is added to the sidebar, and Home Assistant needs a restart before it appears. It relies on the chosen vendor's cloud service and is set up in the UI.
