About

QuietCool BLE is an integration that controls QuietCool attic and whole-house fans over Bluetooth Low Energy. It talks to the fan controller locally on the stock firmware, so no hardware changes are needed. Home Assistant gets fan entities for on/off and Low and High speed presets, with Medium on 3-speed fans that report it. Timer hours and minutes can be set from Home Assistant, and a sensor shows the time remaining. A smart mode switches the fan by attic temperature and humidity thresholds, with a selector for Idle, Timer or thermostat-and-humidity operation. Sensors report attic temperature, humidity and the protect temperature cutoff. Fans are found automatically, and ESPHome Bluetooth Proxies that allow active connections can extend range.
