About

GPIO Integration gives Home Assistant access to the GPIO pins of a Raspberry Pi or other Linux board. It creates binary sensors, covers, fans, lights, numbers, sensors and switches from pins, and also supports servo outputs. Covers can use separate up and down pins or a single toggle pin, with an optional closed state sensor. Lights can be dimmable by PWM or RGB, with per-color intensity calibration. Sensor types include distance, DHT humidity and temperature, and analog readings through MCP chips. It works locally and is set up in the UI, with pull mode, bounce time and logic inversion available per entity.
