About
Command line is a built-in Home Assistant integration that runs shell commands to drive entities. It provides binary sensors, covers, notifiers, sensors and switches, all working locally on the Home Assistant host. Setup is done in the YAML configuration file, and nothing extra needs to be installed. A reload action applies changes to the command line configuration from YAML without a full restart. It can also post a notice in Settings, Repairs when a command with a template uses shell features.
