About
Tasmota is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects devices running Tasmota firmware and works locally. It adds binary sensors, cameras, covers, fans, lights, sensors and switches to Home Assistant. Home Assistant spots these devices on the network and offers to add them, and setup is done in the UI. Devices can start automations directly through device triggers. A repair notice appears in Settings, Repairs when several Tasmota devices share the same topic. The discovery topic prefix only needs changing for a custom Tasmota binary that does not use the default prefix.
