About

Homey compound device for Home Assistant app defines groups of Home Assistant entities as compound devices for Homey. Each compound is described in YAML, either in the main configuration file or in a separate included file. A compound is given a device name and a list of capabilities, such as switch, lock, alarm and measurement types. Entity attributes can be used as capabilities too, and several values of one type can be added as subcapabilities with optional titles. A Homey dim slider can control a number input entity, with a converter calculation to fit its value range. Icons and units can be set per compound or capability, and a unit overrides the one on the entity. It works locally and is installed through the Marketplace.
