About

PetKit is a Home Assistant integration for monitoring and controlling PetKit feeders, litter boxes, purifiers and water fountains. Each PetKit device and each pet appears as its own device in Home Assistant. Entities cover binary sensors, buttons, a fan, numbers, selects, sensors, switches and a text field, with items such as food level, litter, filter reset, manual feed, child lock and light controls. It connects through the vendor's cloud using a PetKit account email and password, and third-party sign-in methods are not supported. Setup is done in the UI, where country, timezone, polling interval and an option to use the PetKit BLE relay can be set. Polling defaults to 120 seconds, and a shorter interval may get the account rate limited or blocked.
