About

Power Pet Door is an integration for controlling and monitoring the Power Pet Door made by High Tech Pet. It talks to the door directly over the local network, with no cloud or account, and the door pushes changes as they happen. It adds a door cover, cycle and toggle buttons, sensors for battery, latency and open cycles, and switches for the inside and outside sensors, schedule, auto retract and notifications. Numbers cover hold open time and sensor trigger voltages, and a select sets the timezone. A set schedule action replaces the inside or outside sensor schedule from an automation, and a Lovelace card edits schedules by dragging. Options adjust command timeout, reconnect delay, keepalive and refresh intervals, and the hold-open range; setup happens in the UI with a host and port. The door accepts one network connection at a time, so the Connection switch must be off to use the mobile app, and this project is independent of High Tech Pet.
