About

OpenWeatherMap History is an integration that pulls forecast, current observation and history data from the OpenWeatherMap API. It adds sensors and a weather entity, so the captured data can be shown in a weather card. History covers up to 30 days of rain, snow and temperature, alongside a 7 day forecast, current readings such as wind, pressure and dew point, and daily aggregates. Further sensors can be defined with Jinja2 templates and given extra attributes, and sensor groups can be added in bulk. Settings cover how many days of data to keep, how many days to backload and a daily limit on API calls. It needs an API key and the vendor's cloud, and is set up in the UI.
