About
NL Weather is an integration for weather forecasts, observations, rain radar and warnings in The Netherlands using KNMI data. It adds weather entities per location, including a combined one that merges observations and forecast, plus separate observation and forecast entities. A camera shows the precipitation radar, with a choice of color theme and an option to mark the home location on the image. Binary sensors report an active alert and forecasted precipitation, and sensors cover alerts, station details, temperature, humidity, pressure, visibility and wind. Observations can come from a manually chosen weather station or from the closest stations automatically. It connects to the KNMI cloud and needs API tokens from a KNMI Data Platform account, entered in the UI.

From the README
NL Weather is a Home Assistant integration that provides weather forecasts, observations, precipitation (e.g. rain) radar, precipitation nowcast graph and warnings in The Netherlands — using open data directly fetched from KNMI (the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute).
Using default cards and radar in bright color theme. Nowcast graph plotted using ApexCharts
- Integration as a Home Assistant weather entity provider
- Combined weather entity per location that merges observations and forecast data
- Separate observations and forecast weather entities are still available for advanced use
- Can have multiple configurable locations (limited to the Netherlands) with
- Current weather observations (temperature, humidity, wind, etc.)
- Weather forecast (hourly/daily)
- Weather alerts (issued by KNMI)
- Precipitation / rain radar and forecast graph (2 hours into future)
- Can mark home location on the radar image
- Radar has a dark and light color theme
- Precipitation nowcast and binary sensor when precipitation is predicted
- Weather observations can be fetched in two modes
