About
BLE ADV Ceiling Fan / Lamps is a custom integration that controls ceiling fans and lamps through BLE raw advertising. It recognizes the protocols used by various phone apps and remotes, so it is not tied to one brand or device type, and it does not support standard BLE GATT devices. It adds fan and light entities, plus a switch for a no command mode and an event entity for encoded commands. Device configuration can be found by listening to an already paired phone app or physical remote, and commands from that controller update the entity states in Home Assistant. A second controller can be linked so that a phone app and a remote both keep the states in sync. Commands go out through the host Bluetooth adapter, an ESPHome proxy, or a Shelly Bluetooth proxy, and setup runs in the UI. An action injects raw BLE ADV data in hex format, and device triggers fire on state changes or received commands.

Home Assistant Custom Integration to control Ceiling Fan / Lamp Devices from various Brands using non standard BLE Raw Advertising as communication method. Please note this component will never support standard BLE GATT protocol as it is not its purpose.
This integration is not limited to any specific device type or brand: it is able to recognize and reproduce the communication protocols used by various Phone Apps and Remotes.
