About
Simple Plant is a Home Assistant integration that tracks plants and their watering schedule locally. It works without any external service or plant sensor, so each plant is kept as a device with its own records. Each plant stores the last watering date, the number of days between waterings, a photo, and optionally a species, health state, and a fertilization schedule. Binary sensors show when a plant needs water or fertilizer and when either is late, and buttons mark a plant as watered or fertilized. Global sensors report the next watering, the next fertilization, and which plants need attention. It is set up in the UI, and the options let the photo, species, and fertilization schedule be changed later.
