About
VR Basestation controls Valve Index (V2) and HTC Vive (V1) base stations from Home Assistant over Bluetooth LE. It adds switches for power and, on V2 stations, standby mode, which turns off the lasers while the motors keep spinning. Sensors report the power state along with firmware, model, hardware, manufacturer, channel and pair ID, plus connection error counters, and a button blinks the LED of a V2 station to identify it. V1 stations support on and off with state tracking and need the station's pair ID. Stations are found through Home Assistant's Bluetooth discovery, or added by MAC address and device type in the UI, and everything runs locally without SteamVR. Options cover the state update interval, a faster polling interval during boot, and the Bluetooth connection timeout.
