About
Kingspan Watchman SENSiT reads oil tank levels from Kingspan SENSiT monitors through the vendor's cloud service. It adds sensors for oil level, percentage full, tank capacity, last reading date, current usage, forecast empty date, current energy usage and oil consumption. Usage and the empty forecast are averaged over a recent window of days, 14 by default, rather than relying on the previous day's reading. Energy figures are derived from an adjustable energy density for heating oil, and the consumption sensor suits Energy Dashboard use. Options cover the refresh interval in hours, the usage window in days, the energy density and verbose debug logging of the Kingspan connection. Setup happens in the UI with Kingspan account credentials and an optional tank name, and a repair notice appears if the credentials need attention.
