About
Heizoel24 Mex is a Marketplace integration that brings the HeizOel24 MEX heating oil sensor into Home Assistant. It adds sensors and talks to the vendor's cloud, so an account is needed, and setup in the UI asks for an e-mail and password. Re-authentication only asks for the password again. Two of the sensors, oil free capacity and last order price, can be used in the Energy dashboard. Since the Energy dashboard does not support oil directly, the free capacity sensor uses the gas device class. If the last order price is not available, the order can be recorded manually in the vendor's app, and currently only one sensor is expected to be supported.
