About

Davis Vantage is an integration that reads a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station and exposes its data in Home Assistant. It connects locally, either through a serial port or over the network with a host name or IP address and port. It adds sensors for readings such as temperature, daily high and low temperature with their times, inside temperature and heat index, plus a binary sensor for rain. Diagnostic sensors report the last fetch, last success and last error, along with the archive interval. Actions can read or set the station clock, return raw data from the last fetch, and show firmware information. Other actions set yearly rain and the rain collector type, or change the archive period, which erases stored archive data. Setup is done in the UI, where the readout interval can be chosen.
