Xiaozhi ESP32 AI Chatbot

About

Xiaozhi MCP connects a Xiaozhi ESP32 AI chatbot to Home Assistant through the Model Context Protocol. It lets the chatbot control Home Assistant entities by natural language, using the Home Assistant MCP Server integration and a long-lived access token. The integration adds sensors and switches, plus actions to reconnect to the Xiaozhi endpoint and to send a message to Xiaozhi. It reconnects automatically with exponential backoff and checks connection status at a configurable interval, with an optional debug logging setting. It depends on the vendor's cloud, and it is set up in the UI with the Xiaozhi endpoint URL.
