About

Marées France shows French tide data for a chosen harbor in Home Assistant, along with a custom dashboard card. It pulls data from SHOM and Meteoconsult through the vendor's cloud, and it is set up in the UI by selecting the nearest port. Sensors cover the current, next and previous tide, the next spring and neap tides, current water height, water temperature, and the next tide's coefficient and height. A number entity sets the minimum depth a boat needs, and the card uses it to mark a danger zone on its graphs. Actions return tide data, water levels, coefficients, water temperature and the minimum depth, and another one clears a harbor's cached data and refetches it. Data is cached and fetched in background tasks, so an unavailable provider does not delay startup, and failed requests are retried automatically.
