About
Voice Satellite - LLM Tools adds search, weather and financial lookup tools to Home Assistant's LLM conversation agents. It registers tools that agents such as OpenAI, Google Generative AI, Anthropic or Ollama can call for web, Wikipedia, image and YouTube video search, weather forecasts, stock and crypto prices, and currency conversion. Web and image search use either Brave Search or a self-hosted SearXNG server, while video search uses the YouTube Data API and finance data comes from Finnhub. Weather forecasts come from existing Home Assistant weather entities, and Wikipedia lookups can return a concise summary or the full introduction. Paired with the Voice Satellite, results show as cards on its screen, including an entity card for cameras, lights and sensors; without it, the tools only return data to the agent. Search results are cached in memory, and setup is done in the UI with provider choices and result limits.

Extend your voice assistant's capabilities with web, Wikipedia, image, video search, weather forecast, and financial data tools for Home Assistant's LLM integrations. When paired with the Voice Satellite, results are displayed directly in the card UI.
