About

Tempest is a Marketplace integration that connects Home Assistant to a WeatherFlow Tempest weather station. It provides a weather entity with forecast and current conditions, plus a large set of sensors such as air temperature, dew point, feels like, heat index, illuminance, battery voltage and lightning strike data. Data can come over the local network through UDP or through the vendor's cloud, and the setup step asks which of the two to use. Cloud access uses authorization with the Tempest website, and a personal API token is also an option. Realtime data is optional, and the README describes the build as a beta meant for testing. It is added through the Home Assistant interface, and only one instance can be configured.
