From the README

Control blinds through a Neo Smart Controller on your local network. No cloud, no extra Python packages. Everything is set up from the Home Assistant UI.

The controller never reports where a blind is, so Home Assistant works out the position from the commands it sends and the times you give it. This README explains how to keep that estimate accurate.
