About

Hubitat is an integration that brings devices from a Hubitat hub into Home Assistant through the Maker API. It communicates locally with the hub and is set up in the UI. Entity types are chosen from the capabilities each Hubitat device reports, so one device can produce several entities across platforms such as lights, locks, thermostats, covers, fans, valves and sensors. Hubitat location modes can appear as a select entity, and attributes with no matching sensor type are exposed as generic sensors that are disabled by default. Button and lock-code events can start automations as device triggers. Options cover an event server with optional SSL, the temperature units, removal of devices no longer shared, and assigning areas from Hubitat rooms.
