About

Renogy is a Home Assistant integration that monitors and controls Renogy devices over Bluetooth Low Energy. It covers charge controllers and DC-DC chargers that use BT-1 or BT-2 modules, plus batteries, inverters and Smart Shunt 300 devices that advertise directly over BLE. Home Assistant discovers these devices on its own and offers to add them, and the connection works locally. It provides sensors for battery state, solar panel performance, load statistics, inverter output and shunt readings, which can feed the Energy dashboard. Switches, numbers and selects allow turning the DC load output on or off on supported controllers and adjusting DCC charging settings such as battery type and maximum current. Options cover polling interval, the number of failed polls before a device becomes unavailable, and the reconnect interval, and the README describes the software as experimental.
