About

Cryptoinfo is a Marketplace integration that provides Home Assistant sensors for cryptocurrencies supported by CoinGecko. Each sensor tracks one or more coins or tokens by their CoinGecko ids, with a multiplier for the amount held, so a sensor can reflect the value of a holding in a chosen currency. Options cover a currency name, an optional unit symbol, price precision, how often the value refreshes, and a minimum time between requests that is shared across sensors. Sensors expose attributes that can be used in template sensors, for example to total the value of several holdings. Data comes from the CoinGecko cloud API, whose public rate limit means refresh intervals matter when many coins are tracked. It is added and edited through the Home Assistant interface.
