About
Robonect monitors and controls a Robonect-equipped robotic lawn mower through MQTT, the REST API, or both. It adds a lawn mower entity, a GPS tracker, and binary sensors, buttons, sensors and switches covering things like battery, errors, timers, and outputs. Buttons cover actions such as start, stop, go back home, reset error, and sync clock. When MQTT is enabled, its sensors take priority over REST sensors because they update faster. REST sensors refresh on a configurable interval, and while the mower is sleeping only status sensors are updated so the mower is not woken on each scan. The options also allow changing the mower brand and type, credentials, host, and a winter mode setting. It works locally, is set up in the UI, and Home Assistant can discover it on the network.
