About
RainPoint Cloud is a custom integration for RainPoint Smart+ irrigation devices through the RainPoint cloud. It adds binary sensors, buttons, numbers, selects, sensors, switches, updates and valves to Home Assistant, and all devices communicate through the vendor's cloud, with no local network protocol. Setup happens in the UI, where a country, email and password are entered and then a home is chosen. An option turns on real-time push updates from the cloud, with polling kept as a fallback, and two further options enable unverified generic sensors and generic device control. Repair notices cover problems such as push updates not arriving, a device not reporting or a hub being unreachable, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports. Some models are validated against hardware, while others are supported only from captured payloads.

After setup
