About

Lightener creates virtual lights that control a group of lights in Home Assistant from a single entity. Each light in the group keeps its own on/off state and brightness level, so the group does not have to share one value. A brightness mapping for every controlled light defines how its level follows the virtual light's level, and the integration calculates the steps in between. For example, ceiling LEDs can reach full brightness at 80% of the room level while a sofa lamp stays off until 20%. Lights that can only be switched on and off are supported as well. It works locally and is set up in the UI by naming the device, choosing the lights, and defining the mappings.
