About
NSW Rural Fire Service - Fire Danger shows fire danger ratings and fire bans for New South Wales districts. It reads an XML feed from the Rural Fire Service and adds sensors for the danger level and binary sensors for fire bans, covering today and tomorrow. An extended feed option adds days three and four. Setup happens in the UI, where a district and a feed are chosen. An option converts the feed's empty rating into the text No Rating, which avoids a None state in automations. Data comes from the external feed through the cloud and refreshes every 15 minutes, and outside the winter period without ratings the level shows as None.
