About

Resol Controller is a custom integration that logs sensor data from Resol devices through the KM2 communication module. It also works with DL2 devices and VBUS, and it talks to the device locally. The integration adds sensors to Home Assistant, and each Resol device appears as a device with its sensors attached. Sensors are split into regular ones and less important diagnostics sensors, and the diagnostics ones can be switched off or the sensors grouped on the device page. The full dataset of a device is fetched with a single call, and disabled or unchanged sensors are skipped during updates. Setup runs in the UI, asking for host, port, username and password, then a device name and a polling interval in seconds.

From the README

Home Assistant custom component to log sensor information from Resol devices using KM2 communication module. This is my first time programming in Python and publishing to Github. Over time, this component has been updated to also work with DL2 and JSON Live Data Server.

This component was inspired by dm82m/hass-Deltasol-KM2 and I used some of dm82m's code to fetch the KM2's data via webservice.
