About

Satellite Tracker (N2YO) is an integration that reports visible satellite passes and tracks chosen satellites through the N2YO API. A location entry adds a sensor showing how many satellites are currently overhead, with the satellites and their positions listed in its attributes. A satellite entry adds sensors for the next visible passes, plus a tracker that plots the satellite's current position on the map. Locations can be limited to a category of satellites, and satellites are chosen by their NORAD ID, with the International Space Station as the default. Options cover the polling interval, the overhead radius for locations, and the minimum visible pass time and pass alert degrees for satellites. It is set up in the UI with an N2YO API key, which is rate limited to 1000 transactions per hour.
