About
View Assist is a Marketplace integration that sets up View Assist devices in Home Assistant and works locally. Each device is configured in the UI by choosing a satellite name, microphone, media player, music player and display device, with optional intent device and orientation sensor. Options cover dashboard views, background image source, rotation interval, font style, status icon size and launch icons. Default settings include a weather entity, default mode, view timeout, do not disturb at startup, volume ducking and music mode timeout. It provides sensors and updates, can send update notifications, and lets a translation engine be chosen. A repair notice in Settings, Repairs can help fix resource version issues.
