About
Passive BLE monitor is a Marketplace integration that listens to passive Bluetooth LE sensors. It works locally and adds sensors, binary sensors and presence tracking to Home Assistant. Devices with a static MAC address or a beacon UUID can be tracked as present or away, with settings for scan interval and consider-home interval. Supported brands include Govee, Inkbird, Ruuvitag, SensorPush, Switchbot and several Xiaomi lines. Options cover averaging period, median instead of mean, update policy, encryption keys, and an optional active scan in place of passive scan. It is set up in the UI, and actions are provided to clean up dangling devices and to send raw HCI packet data.
