About
OpenNEM is a Marketplace integration that adds sensors with National Electricity Market data from OpenElectricity. The data comes from the vendor's cloud, and the region to monitor is chosen in the setup and can be changed later in the options. Each sensor reports only the energy sources that apply to its region. A generation versus demand attribute is calculated as the region's generation, excluding imports, minus its demand, so a negative value means generation does not meet demand. The authenticated API needed for flow between regions is not supported. Setup is done in the UI, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
