About

WeatherLink is a Marketplace integration that brings Davis Weatherlink weather station data into Home Assistant. It polls the vendor's cloud API every 5 minutes, and how often the data actually changes depends on the subscription level, with the free Basic level updating observations every 15 minutes. It provides sensors such as dew point, heat index, pressure trend, evapotranspiration and extra humidity channels, plus a binary sensor for the transmitter battery. Data is normalized so that, for example, outdoor temperature carries the same label regardless of the station or gateway model. Rarely used sensors are disabled and hidden by default and can be enabled from the device page. Setup is done in the UI with either API V2 credentials (key and secret) or legacy API V1 credentials.

From the README

This integration will represent your data from Davis Weaterlink in Home Assistant. It will query the cloud API every 5 minutes. The data update frequency in the API is depending on your subscription level. I e if you have the free "Basic" level, the observations data will only be updated every 15 minutes.

The integration does not have the ambition to display everything that a Davis weatherstation can report. It is a reasonable compromise between details and clutter. It also tries to "normalize" the data so that e.g. outdoor temperature is labelled "Temperature out" irrespective of model of the station and the gateway device.
