About

Israel Pikud Haoref Alert monitors emergency alerts from the Israeli National Emergency Portal (Pikud HaOref) in Home Assistant. It adds binary sensors, sensors, and events, including a sensor for time to shelter, and the alert data comes from the vendor's cloud. Areas to monitor are chosen in the setup and options steps, where area names are in Hebrew only, and the setup tries to detect the area from the Home location. Actions can add, edit, or remove sensors for selected areas, return the areas currently in pre-alert or alert, and create synthetic alerts for testing. A map card shows active alerts and pre-alerts, with options such as auto fit, showing the home zone, and a Hebrew basemap. Dedicated triggers can start automations on pre-alert, alert, or end records, and the integration is set up in the UI.

From the README

This Home Assistant integration monitors emergency alerts from the Israeli National Emergency Portal (Pikud HaOref / פיקוד העורף).

The integration is installed and configured entirely through the UI. Moreover, for the common usage of automations and visualization, there is no need to understand or deal with entities or YAML at all.
