About
Instituto Português do Mar e Atmosfera (IPMA) is a built-in integration that brings weather data into Home Assistant. It adds a weather entity along with sensors for fire risk, UV index and weather alerts. Data comes from the vendor's cloud service, so an internet connection is required. It is set up in the UI, where a location is chosen by latitude and longitude, together with a mode and a name. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report, and the integration reports its status in Home Assistant's system information.
