About

Aurora is a built-in Home Assistant integration that reports aurora visibility for a chosen location. It adds a sensor for visibility and a binary sensor that works as a visibility alert. The location is given as a latitude and longitude, along with a name, when it is set up in the UI. An option for a threshold percentage lets the alert be tuned to a chosen level. Data comes from the vendor's cloud, so an internet connection is needed.
