About
Is It Payday calculates the next payday from a chosen pay frequency, public holidays and weekends. It adds sensors for the next payday, the last payday and the days remaining, plus a binary sensor that shows whether today is a payday. A calendar lists several upcoming paydays as all-day events, and an event fires on each payday at a time of day the user picks. Pay frequencies range from weekly and every 14 days to monthly, quarterly and annually, and a payday that lands on a weekend or holiday is adjusted. Holidays are worked out locally with the holidays Python package, with optional state or region selection, so no cloud service or internet connection is needed. Setup is done in the UI, and settings can be changed later through options.
