About

GeoLocator is an integration that sets the system timezone and location sensors for vans, RVs and boats. It reads the GPS coordinates of the home zone and runs a reverse geocode lookup through a chosen API provider, which needs the vendor's cloud and an API key or username. The resulting sensors cover address, neighborhood, locality, county, state, country, timezone details and magnetic declination. One action updates the location sensors and the other sets the home timezone from an IANA identifier. When no network is available, it falls back to a local timezone library, and an offline mode can force that library at all times. It does not poll on its own, so updates run only when the update action is called, for example from an automation.
