About

S3 Compatible is a custom integration that sends Home Assistant backups to S3 compatible storage endpoints. It adds a backup target that appears in Home Assistant once the integration is configured. It is a slight modification of the AWS S3 integration, with a configurable endpoint URL so that other S3 services can be used. Settings cover the access key, secret key, an existing bucket, a region, and an optional prefix that emulates a folder layout. A path to a custom certificate authority file can also be given for hosts that use one. Garage is listed as a known working service, and setup is done in the UI.
