About
Mail and Packages is an integration that reports daily package counts and USPS Informed Delivery mail images. It connects to the email account that receives shipment notifications and reads the subject lines of the current day's emails from supported shippers. From those it provides sensors for packages in transit and delivered, along with the number of USPS mail pieces. USPS images are combined into a rotating GIF shown on a camera, and the image reverts to a no mail graphic after the first check past midnight. Settings cover the mail folder, scanning interval, image duration, Amazon forwarding addresses and an optional custom no-image picture. It is configured in the UI, and the README states that processing happens locally.
