About

Email Notification Service sends email notifications, alerts and messages from Home Assistant through an SMTP mail server. It is based on the Home Assistant SMTP integration but adds a user interface for the mail server settings, so no YAML is required, though existing YAML configuration still works. Each configured email account becomes a notifier with a default recipient, and an options step allows editing the account later without reinstalling. A separate send email action accepts one or more recipients, a subject, plain text or HTML content, attachments and images, and recipients given there override the default. Account settings cover server, port, credentials, sender address and name, encryption mode and timeout, plus a connection test. The integration needs the vendor's cloud according to its listing, and it is set up through the Home Assistant interface.
