About
Awtrix is a custom integration that controls Awtrix display devices from Home Assistant. It talks to the devices through the MQTT API of Awtrix and works locally. The integration adds actions to Home Assistant rather than a set of controls. One action changes display settings such as brightness, clock settings, and which built-in apps are enabled. Another sends notifications to the display with several options for customizing them. A third creates and updates custom apps that can contain elements such as text and icons. The device must have its MQTT settings pointed at the MQTT server, and the integration is added in the UI.
