About

Discord Game is a custom integration that reports the online and game status of Discord users. It creates a sensor for each configured user, showing online status and the game being played, and uses the Discord avatar as the entity picture. Users to track are chosen during setup, and Discord channels and voice channels can be added as an optional extra, with channel tracking following which user last added a reaction. A Steam API key can be entered to load Steam game images, otherwise only images supplied by Discord are available. The image format is selectable, and the sub-entities can be created as disabled so only the main sensor per user is active. It runs through a Discord bot token and the vendor's cloud, and the same bot token can be shared with the native Discord notify integration.

From the README

This component pulls information about user's status, and the game they're currently playing from the Discord. It creates a sensor for every configured user with online status and game played status. Discord avatar is used as entity_picture.

You can use this component in combination with native Home Assistant Discord notify integration. It works well together, and you can use the same token for both components, and the bot will combine both functions. So 1 Discord bot to rule both.
