About

Vacances Scolaires France is a custom integration that tracks French school holidays for a chosen zone. It adds a calendar listing upcoming holidays, and the calendar state shows whether a holiday is in progress. A binary sensor reports whether the zone will be on holiday tomorrow. Two sensors give the name of the current holiday period and of the next one, each with extra attributes, and the current-holiday sensor reads unknown when no holiday is running. Setup is done in the UI by picking a zone from a list, and the data comes from a cloud service. The integration refreshes its data every 120 days, since the national education schedules are published up to 2027.
