About
Vigieau is a custom integration that exposes water restrictions in France from the Vigieau dataset. It adds sensors and binary sensors for each water usage category, and the sensors carry extra attributes that can be used in automations. Location can come from the Home Assistant coordinates, a town postcode, or a point picked on a map. Lookups use INSEE city codes rather than postcodes, so a postcode matching several codes prompts a manual city choice. More than one location can be added after the first one. It needs the vendor's cloud, sends the location to a government website, and is set up in the UI.
